Wednesday, November 23 through Friday, November 25: No School - Griffin School staff wishes you and your families a Happy Thanksgiving.
Friday, December 2: PTA Family FUN night - "Dance with Santa and Silent Auction Fundraiser" from 6:30pm-8:30pm. Cost is $1 per person or $5 per family (Price includes admission and one dessert per person). See red flyer that went home for more information. Classrooms are accepting donations for their "themed" baskets to be auctioned during this event. Please refer to your classroom newsletter or contact your student's teacher for more information.
Saturday, December 3: Griffin Elementary is going to participate in the Jingle Bell parade to show off our National Blue Ribbon banner. We'd like to invite our families to walk in the parade with us. A student must have an adult present with them. More details will be sent home soon but please mark this on your calendar.
Thursday, December 15 & Friday, December 16: PTA is again sponsoring Holiday Shopping for our students. Look for order envelopes to come home with your student on Friday, December 2 - our students love shopping for their family. This event happens during the school day. PTA is looking for volunteers to help.
Monday, December 26 through Friday, January 7: No School - Enjoy your holiday break. School resumes on Monday, January 9, 2017.
